Giant building wrap advertising does not get any bigger. Advertising on scaffolding or buildings is physically the largest advertising medium available. This scaffold wrap advertising we produced for Somerset House is the third we have done for them. The advertising campaign is to bring awareness of the exhibitions and events taking place at the historic venue. Combining their heritage with a commitment to pioneering artistic practices, Somerset House is a centre for contemporary culture and creative community.
Giant building wrap gets noticed
It is not something one can just walk past and not see. At 12 meters high and 25 meters wide billboard advertising does not get much larger! Getting planning consent for advertising is not a certainty. Obtaining planning is a must especially at this scale and prestigious location. It is not easy getting advertising consent and planning consultants are usually the first people to contact if wanting to investigate the feasibility of installing a Giant building wrap advertising.
How we make advertising building wraps.
Digitally printed high resolution onto a fire-retardant mesh PVC material the advertisement is printed on a 5 meters wide super large format printer. The mesh is then finished by high frequency welding webbing and Kador around the perimeter and large eyelets. The large advertisement is then hung onto a projecting scaffold sub-frame and sides and bottom wrapped around the scaffolding to conceal the fixings.
Working with the main contractor to ensure our operatives do not hinder or get in the way of the contractors and important building working being carried out. The installation is done by our highly trained rope access operatives.
